Don Johnson
Board Member, Chair of Development CommitteeDon Johnson has over 23 years of biopharma experience including sales leadership, sales training and patient access. He has extensive experience in ultra-rare diseases, including several product launches and building out multiple sales teams. Most recently, Don worked for QOL Medical where he led a team of 10 rare disease specialists. He has also worked at Sage, Shire, Dyax, Ipsen, EMD Serono, Takeda, and Merck. Don’s leadership style is to lead by example and to always put people first. He has lived in Washington DC and grew up in Indiana where attended Indiana University for his bachelor’s degree and Indiana State University for his MBA. Don currently resides in Valencia, Calif., which is a suburb of Los Angeles. He is passionate about being a good father and raising his daughter who is his “heartbeat.” He loves to travel, collect wine and watch/play all sports. Don has a noteworthy passion for basketball and is an avid Los Angeles Clippers fan. A long-time supporter of Children’s Music Fund, he joined the board in 2021 to expand his influence and bring awareness to the healing benefits of music therapy for children with chronic and life-altering illnesses to help them on their journey towards a better quality of life.
