is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to provide musical instruments and music therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults with chronic and life altering illnesses, and to support research on the effects of music therapy.

CMF was recently awarded an outstanding library of musical instruments of all levels by the Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation. With their generous donation, CMF is expanding its outreach to serve a larger population of patients by taking music therapy to them and by incorporating a permanent music therapy room within the Whole Child LA facility that provides state-of-the-art treatment to pediatric patients with pain and other chronic conditions.

Our ultimate goal is for all children who suffer from chronic and life altering illnesses to have the resources and means to utilize the power of music in their journey towards healing.
